AFAES a non-governmental organization has been actively involved in many projects in the past and is currently undergoing trainings for project planning since 12 August 2007 offered by a training coordinator Dr.Tiina Kontinen of KEPA.
The purpose of these trainings are to acquire basic knowledge on how to effectively plan, target and research more into the core issues facing the underprivileged mostly among the African societies.
These trainings are also opportunities to properly analyze and look into the plights of the victimized and sort for possible ways to bring positive and significant changes to the lives of many as well as brighter future and sense of belonging.
Mission:
To harness, maintain, and promote greater use of handworks resources for self employment, improve healthy living socio-economic development of the rural communities of the present and future generations.
Goals:
To establish healthy and sustainable relationships with the target groups, educated them physically, mentally and otherwise but most of all assistance to becoming self–reliant with guided steps.
As a matter of fact it is very important to build a strong foundation for trust , successful networking and sustainable development.
Objectives:
To promote present and future collaborations and net working through exchange of information, activity integration and adoption of common approaches and methods to assist in monitoring work in progress, inputs, results and sustainability etc.
To ensure full benefits to communities who are underprivileged.
